Vehicles in Germany's City Discovered Covered with Swastikas in Human Blood, Law Enforcement State

Authorities reported they were contacted by a individual who found a car in Hanau smeared with red-colored substance

Around 50 automobiles have been covered with what seems to be blood from a person in the Germany's town of Hanau in proximity to Frankfurt, as reported by police.

Vehicles, walls and postboxes were vandalized, occasionally with swastikas, they stated in a official communication.

Officers state they were contacted during the night on Wednesday night, when a man discovered that a car in the Lamboy district of Hanau had been marked with a reddish-hued liquid.

The liquid had been drawn in the shape of a Nazi symbol, they reported.

Police then found multiple other vandalized automobiles and building exteriors in the nearby vicinity.

These symbols are banned in Germany under regulations outlawing the public display of Nazi-era symbols.

Law enforcement report initial examinations suggest the substance was most likely human blood.

"At present there remains no lead as to its source; officials are currently not cognizant of any physical harm in association with the occurrence," they added.

Local authorities announced they were trying "to unravel the case" and have asked to the community for information.

A senior political figure said the vandalism made him stunned and had to be solved promptly.

"This act affects the core of Hanau and revives the pain of the extremist terrorist attack in 2020," he stated on online, referring to the death of nine individuals by a assailant aiming at people of immigrant origin in February 2020.
